Blogging from the ANA Lounge @ Narita Airport
Time to go home from my favourite country again. I read an article in The Herald Tribune this morning (the paper is delivered quietly in a cool, grey cotton bag, strapped around the doorhandle) about the speed and cost of Internet connections worldwide. Japan was a clear number one in both areas. Denmark was around 14. I am going to complain to my provider when I get back. I want more speed. I want to pay less. I love Japan. Fortunately I also love my homes in Denmark. The inspiration you get from visiting Japan is beyond description, but among the ideas that I am going to work on back home are:
*Building a garden on part of the parking spaces in front of my houses.
*Opening a gallery-cum-shop-cum-winebar-and-much-more inspired by the CIBONE shop in Ayoma.
*Make the interior and style of my summerhouse even more Japanese.
They are calling me for the flight now. Unfortunately I can now longer go online in the air. I will watch "Ocean's 13". I saw "Zodiac" on my way out here. It was quite good. And long. Which is perfect for a 10 hour plus flight.
Sayonara, Tokyo.
