Why Green Rooftops?

Rooftop gardens are a vastly underutilized resource that could become a potential food source as well as an excellent community building & education opportunity for high density city dwellers.

Green Rooftops:

absorb water runoff, reduce heat loss from buildings (thus saving energy in both summer and winter), provide habitat for urban wildlife, AND they absorb carbon dioxide.
