The coolest airline on the planet?

BLACK IS THE CORPORATE COLOR: Everybody who read this blog know that I love Japan and everything Japanese. You will also know that I love travelling and I love travelling in style, preferably with an evil edge. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the coolest airline on the planet: Star Flyer. This exclusive aviation company only flies out of Tokyo to the southern island of Kyushu. That is not what makes it cool, though. What makes it cool is the airplanes and the attitude. Everything is black. The airplanes are black, the (wide) leather seats featuring a personal Internet connection are black, the uniforms are black. Hell, even the soap and other (only-in-Japan) ammenities are black. Read more about their attitude toward branding, concept and design in an official presse release here. You can only book flights online and via cell phone. No ticket offices. No travel agencies. No bullshit. I will post more about this company in september, lovers. Oh, and by the way, the infamous toilet company, Toto ("Clean is happy!"), is a major investor in Star Flyer. Expect clean asses onboard. .
