Hung-over in London with Agatha Christie

Good morning and happy new year to all my readers out there. (Yes, I am talking to all three of you). I am in the Courthouse today. The Courthouse Hotel in Soho, London. Had a lovely dinner (lobster/foiegras/grilled steak/applecake) at the Criterion Grill with friends yesterday and then crashed a series of parties in the neighbourhood. I ended up in a black club, where I was the only white (man).
The DP champagne, the Mersault white wine and the Tanqueray No. 10 with a dash of grape juice is still in my blood. I am watching TV. There's an Agatha Christie bonanza on ITV. I watched Death On The Nile and Murder On The Orient Express back to back! Man, Peter Ustinov is so cool when you're wasted.
[Spoiler alert] Oh, and I totally forgot that Mia Farrow shoots herself in the head in the end of Death On The Nile, which is quite bloody and spooky.
Good night.
